This option includes an integrated single tube 2D reader to decode 2D Tracker Data-Matrix coded tubes and a RFID scanner to read the RFID tag as a mobile record of the sample to provide full traceability of manual manipulations of samples, optionally selecting an activity type from a menu, both on the computer and the PDA.

- Geographical site description: laboratory name, operating theatre number
*32 events which record the history of activity of the sample:
- Each time a tube is placed in a reader
- Each time a tube is detected in a scanner
- To provide full traceability of manual manipulations of samples, optionally selecting an activity type from a menu, both on the computer and the PDA
- Each events consist of: Time and date, reader ID, for determining geographical location, Temperature (if available) and action performed on the sample (if required)
- Possibility to save all the information into the RFID Tag
